That night, the management staff of Guangdong South China tiger club confirmed to the reporter that because they did not complete the salary and bonus confirmation form required by the Chinese Football Association, the application for extension to the Football Association was not responded and the team had been dissolved.

The predecessor of Guangdong South China Tiger Club was Dongguan Nancheng club established in 2003. The club was moved to Meizhou Meixian County in 2012, renamed as Hakka in Meixian county, renamed as Tiehan in Meixian County in 2016, and renamed as Guangdong South China tiger in 2019.
